Customer Sales & Service Advisor (June 2017)

We are now looking to recruit a further Customer Sales & Service Advisor to join our small and friendly team here in Thorpe Arch. Working hand in hand with our team of external Account Managers you will be involved in helping to grow our sales and deliver outstanding levels of customer service.

We pride ourselves on being a flexible employer and for this reason would consider either full time applicants, or alternatively from those seeking a shorter working week (although not less than 30 hours per week)

Core responsibilities:
• Calling long-term, existing customers for their replenishment orders and pro-actively selling in new and seasonal lines to them.
• Ensuring excellent service, through a timely and professional response to any customer service queries and making decisions about how best to handle the queries to the highest possible standard.
• Pro-actively communicating with customers and colleagues alike, in the pursuit of improved service and sales.
• Identifying new potential customers and liaising with external partners in order to continue building our customer base

The Hours:
As a full time role it would be a 37.5 hour working week, Monday to Friday. A shorter working week might be accommodated for the right candidate with a minimum of 30 hours per week)

The candidate:
• You possess previous selling or commercial experience and can demonstrate experience in the core responsibilities detailed above.
• You are a confident pro-active communicator, with good written and verbal skills.
• Your positive, innovative and conscientious approach will ensure you maintain high quality standards at all times.
• You are a self-starter who can prioritise your workload, based on a balanced view of both customer and company needs. You can keep track of a variety of tasks and have a drive to outperform the norm.
• You are passionate about excellent customer service.
• You are able to use common computer programmes such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
Other systems will be trained.
• You are happy to take responsibility for delivering great service and sales to you your customers.

Salary:
A competitive basic salary commensurate with experience
